This Saturday’s topic is another trouble area for many people; males and females alike. THE STOMACH. Such a tricky section of the body.
Just a reminder, I am not a personal trainer or a doctor. But I do know a thing or two about getting in shape. Strengthening the abdominal region is vital for fitness. However it is a common misconception that doing ab exercises all day will give you your long awaited six pack; but that comes more from what you’re putting into your stomach. As I said in an earlier post, nutrition is a MASSIVE topic (I hope you are still drinking Chocolate Milk after your workouts!), and I will begin with those after I lay the foundation of body knowledge.
Here is an ab routine I like to do 3xs through
15 regular Sit Ups
10 Single-leg alternating V-Ups
15 Knee Slides
15 Super Mans
25 Hollow Rockers
If you don’t know what any of these are, message me and I’ll sort it out. It’s a hundred reps so you can do as many sets as you like.
Note that it is important to do back exercises so you’re body’s strength remains even.
Remember, loving your body and what it can do will create an untouchable confidence; that can take you far.
